w Endeavors to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators as discussed and agreed with the Line Manager
w Develops and maintains a good network of contacts that refer opportunities for new business regularly.
w Identifies, develops and pursues business opportunities that leverage the company's successes and maximize cross-selling opportunities and endeavors to close deals quickly and profitably.
w Interacts effectively with other sales groups (internal and external) to exchange information on potential clients to leveraging sales opportunities.
w Follows up existing clients and facilitates to ensure policies renewal orders are placed regularly.
w Maintains accurate records of all client contacts, opportunities won and lost (and reasons for loss) and analyzes the same frequently to understand the market and plan business development strategies / tactics.
w Provides the Regional Manager with accurate sales and productivity reports as requested.
w Liaises with the underwriting department to issue quotation / policy as agreed with the client.
w Keeps track of competitors’ products / prices and communicates to underwriting department and management.
w Contributes to the development of the annual business plan and specific strategies of the Sales and Marketing Department.
