HIT began providing IT solutions and services in Kuwait& the region in 1983 under the name Kuwait Computer Company (Hasibat), with the aim of establishing a national company that is committed to providing top-quality products and services, at competitive prices in the region.

In 1987, Kuwait Computer Company applied for and was successfully registered at the Kuwait Stock Exchange; thus becoming the first publicly owned IT company in Kuwait.
