Offshore Installation Manager
The OIM is responsible for managing the offshore operations on the platform or vessel, including the health, safety and welfare of all personnel onboard.
Ensures full compliance with all mandatory procedures and regulations that relate to production operations
Oversees daily production/platform operation activities
Organises, supervises and delegates the activities of the personnel, so as to ensure the preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs are performed in a timely manner
Promotes and maintains a safe environment for all personnel, ensuring on-going development and training of employees and equipment is maintained to a high standard

This role is vital to the safe and effective delivery of production in the Oil and Gas Industry. An OIM might be based offshore on a platform or vessel. This role is the most senior manager offshore and is responsible for dealing with any emergency situations.

Offshore survival certificate

Stand-in OIM experience where the individual has undertaken the role for short periods of time
