The Sales and Business Development Manager would be joining a high-performing team focused on implementing TPConnects industry leading new generation travel retailing strategy with a specific focus on Merchandising. The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for developing the sales of the TPConnects Travel Aggregator and Online Booking Engine suite of solutions. The Sales and Business Development Manager drives the team to identify and pursue business opportunities together with airlines and other third party Travel Suppliers and in accordance with the defined expansion strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Travel Agency Community.

Present the complete Travel Aggregator Platform and Online Booking Engine Product suite to the Travel Agency Community, Management of sales and contract negotiations with travel agents and travel management companies.
Support the development and definition of TPConnects Sales strategy, working in close collaboration with Product Management and related Business Units. Review and contribution to the regional pipeline and prioritization of opportunities with specific attention to closing the contracts. Review of product and solution mix in line with opportunities and recommendations to the organisation.
Sales Engagement Strategy
Qualification of opportunities in terms of solution fit and revenue potential. Development and ownership of the sales strategy, the relationship mapping and the planning for each engagement.
Travel Aggregator Platform and Online Booking Engine is a high profile product suite within TPConnects and the role will be afforded a high degree of visibility, providing opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders within the industry and across all parts of the business.
-5 – 8 years’ experience in a commercial or product role in an airline, GDS, B2B Travel Technology, Travel Supplier or travel related environment
-Preferably educated to degree level.
-Understanding of airline, travel agency GDS relationships
-Customer-centric thinking and behavior developed in a previous customer-facing role.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-High understanding of the travel provider IT and distribution industry
