Trapeze ITS needs you to help deliver bespoke software solutions that keep public transport services running for millions of people in major metropolitan areas worldwide.
As an Implementation Specialist you will help deliver and support complex transport application deployments globally, and your first project is a key component of the ‘future transport model’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Joining as this project advances to the build stage you'll focus on the application layer, working across functional testing, FAT, SAT and production environments, with support from colleagues on the data and infrastructure aspects.
After extensive product training and testing in Switzerland you will spend time with the customer in Riyadh configuring deployments, handling integration and taking the system through acceptance into go-live. Following project sign-off and, supported by a local team, you'll provide ongoing operational support from the UK.
You can anticipate a strong pipeline of such projects, with opportunity for overseas travel and ongoing skills growth.
About you
- You bring proven skills in application delivery, troubleshooting and support
- You're competent at functional and user acceptance testing, and you understand the importance of version control
- You can install, configure and support SQL and Oracle to intermediate level
- You're familiar with Windows Server, and you understand the principles of virtualisation
- You're able to join the team 24/7/365 shift rotation
- You're fluent in Arabic (written and spoken) and are ready to work away from home for a considerable amount of time during the early stages of client projects, i.e. Saudi Arabia and other International locations
