Job Description

  • Knowledge of chocolate production techniques e.g. Tempering, Molding, decorating etc..
  • Deep knowledge in the characteristics of the frequently used ingredients
  • Experience in working with production lines, chocolate processing
  • Creativity in developing new products
  • Good communication skills in Arabic and English
  • Define, implement and optimize manufacturing schedules and resource shift patterns on a cost-effective basis
  • Leadership, sense of organization, good experience in project and team management
  • Makes candy visually appealing by applying pre-determined designs on the surface of chocolate products. Designs can be applied using pastry bags or other tools such as spatulas, air brushes, or automated stringers.
  • Melts and tempers chocolate.
  • Colors compound with food grade colors for the creation of designs.
  • Assist in making chocolate dipped items such as chocolate covered-pretzel and chocolate- covered cookies
  • Assist in running chocolate equipment including enrobers, depositors, and tempering units.
  • Create and execute unique designs using individual creativity.
  • Assist with production records, HACCP documentation, and ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Must maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

Skills

The Candy/Chocolate Decorator will decorate chocolate and other candies with designs, using a pastry bag or handmade paper cone. Designs are applied using tempered chocolate or chocolate compound and can include stripes, flowers, faces, seasonal characters and other seasonal shapes.
