Raytheon Saudi Arabia in conjunction with Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services is currently seeking an experienced Deputy Program and Technical Operations Manager to help lead the Environmental and Meteorological Information System (EMIS) Team within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Raytheon is seeking an experienced individual who understands the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection (GAMEP) organization, mission, and technical needs. These needs support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030; National Transformation Program 2020 (NTP 2020) Objectives; and Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture’s (MEWA) Environmental Initiatives assigned to GAMEP.EMIS and its relationship to GAMEP’s Early Warning Center (EWC) is a core modernization initiative. EMIS will support current and future NTP 2020 operational meteorological, environmental protection, and warning production initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the resident Customer interface to ensure that the objectives of the program are being met
- Serve as the in-Kingdom representative for the US-based Raytheon program management and technical teams to ensure timely and responsive support to the customer
- Work with in-Kingdom project leads to efficiently and effectively execute their projects
- Serve as the customer interface to assist with programmatic and technical issue resolution
- Provide GAMEP cultural, mission, operations and technical mentorship to US members of the EMIS team
- Collaborate with Industry partners within the customer’s facility and the Kingdom to ensure smooth program execution
- Provide program management to help maintain program budget(s), schedules, staffing plans and track/evaluate technical and programmatic performance in accordance with contractual obligations and Raytheon processes and policies
- Provide technical support to implementing EMIS for meteorological and environmental protection operations
- Support program strategy, vision and tactical direction development across various multifunctional project teams
- Provide coordination and technical insights for team assessments of systems at GAMEP locations throughout the Kingdom
- Provide bilingual language (English/Arabic) support to both Raytheon and GAMEP staff to convey technical information and management direction
- Provide technical and strategic support to business development and pursuit of other GAMEP NTP 2020 Initiatives
