• Supervise the execution of the activities on field (done by contractors) under the lead of the PrIM in strict application of policies, standards and applicable regulations and standards to agreed levels of QCD. Discusses planned and unplanned jobs undertaken with the Manager and continuous monitoring of project execution.
• Perform all assigned work under Safety, Health & Environmental standards and demonstrate a commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance. Attend trainings and conferences relating to functions performed by the company.
• Work with other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical) to develop the overall control system including the Electrical and Instrument drawings, single loop diagram, instrument location plan, ILD, PLC, HMI, Switch Gear, Protection and power electrical distribution cubical systems.
• Skilled in hands-on Field SERVICES experience to identify technical problems with handling capabilities of calibration, troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance.
• Maintain drawings on Auto-CAD.
• Making of BOQ (bill of quantities).
• Solving hardware and software functional compatibility problems and issues found during service intervention.
• Working knowledge of Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and requirements.
• Extensive experience of hazardous and safe area instrument specifications, applicable standards in variety of formats, Familiar with safety-integrated levels (SIL).
• Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.
• Flow: Ultrasonic, Magnetic, DPT, Coriolis Mass, Vortex etc.
• Level: DPT, Radar, Capacitive etc.
• Temperature: RTD (2-3-4 Wires), Thermocouple.
• Pressure: DPT, Pressure Gauges.
• Understanding of various process deliverables like P&ID, plot plan, equipment layouts, ILD’s, piping isometrics, process flow sheets and electrical drawings like MCC, distribution board and SLDs.
