Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervision and monitoring contractor’s safety team.
• Making organizational/project action plan as per five star safety and health management system.
• Develop health and safety systems and procedures to facilitate contractors achieving five stars in annual audit.
• Advise management on occupational health safety and environment matters.
• Provide internal training and awareness sessions.
• Conducting internal audits and taking part in third party organizational audits.
• Achieving zero accident performance by implementing good safety practices at work place.
• Provide OH&S support to members of the organization as per five star safety and health management system.
• Risk assessment (IOSH Standard), Risk analysis, accident investigation, and control over loss of materials & mishandling.
• Bringing management's attention to areas of deficiency by effective reporting.
• Co - ordination with client, contractor or third party management.
• Maintain highest possible standard of personal hygiene.
• Preparing job safety analysis for critical activities.
• Assisting in environmental, pollution and ergonomic studies either internal or external.

 Coordination with clients for testing and Audits of Textile, leather Products as per ISO, ASTM, AATCC and EC standards.
 Ensure correct sampling of chemical ingredients to avoid adverse health effects to environment and people.
 Preparing safe working procedure based on safety analysis.
 Identify and help to resolve any OH&S issues within the organization.
 Advise all levels of staff regarding issues arising from risk assessments, audits and investigations.
 Independent handling of test reports and job order estimate.
 Quality and safety evaluation of trims, accessories and fabric through technical aspects and buyers recommendation.
 Meetings and communication with Client and buyer.
 Independent handling of testing for certifications and ISO, OHSAS accreditation.
 Assisting in the supervision and improvement of textile and leather products.
