Project: King Abdullah Petroleum Studies & Research Center (KAPSARC) - Approx. $ 543 Million
Client: Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco)
Form of Contract: Bespoke - Lump Sum Contract.
Design, Construction and Commission of the KAPSARC Project - An EPC Civil, MEP, Architectural, Structural Building, External works, Façade, Infrastructure & Soft/Hard Landscaping.
 Responsible for the control of Quantity Survey and all the commercial aspects in Commercial Department and reporting to Commercial Manager
 Preparing the Monthly Material progress report which includes all items related with MRR, PO, RFI, Shipping documents, Bill of Lading documents, etc in order to prepare the monthly material Invoices to the Client (Saudi Aramco).
 Preparing the Monthly Construction progress report and preliminaries accordance with all the supporting documents in order to prepare the monthly Construction Invoices to the Client.
 Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales
 Measure, Value, Submit & negotiate contract variations with Client
 Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports,
 Assist in preparing cost estimate for different phases of the project, advice the project management on possible cost over runs and on the action necessary to remain within the approved project budget
 Monitor each stage of construction to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts & assess the financial costs of new environmental guidelines.
 Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts & commercial reports.
 Check/evaluate subcontractors’ monthly payment applications and prepare payment certificates with all backup documents.
 Attend the weekly subcontractors’ commercial meeting to tackle payment and commercial related issues arising.
 As a senior, giving the proper guidance for the colleagues in commercial department in order to get the maximum output & efficiencies
 Co-ordinate with all the MEP suppliers to get the proper SPDP (Spare Parts data package) reports and Update the weekly SPDP requirements for MEP items in order to submit the monthly progress reports.
