1. Post - Project Quantity Surveyor ( MEP, Façade & Infrastructure) – A Saudi Aramco Project

Project: King Abdullah Petroleum Studies & Research Center (KAPSARC) - Approx. $ 543 Million
Client: Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco)
Form of Contract: Bespoke - Lump Sum Contract.
Design, Construction and Commission of the KAPSARC Project - An EPC Civil, MEP, Architectural, Structural Building, External works, Façade, Infrastructure & Soft/Hard Landscaping.
 Responsible for the control of Quantity Survey and all the commercial aspects in Commercial Department and reporting to Commercial Manager
 Preparing the Monthly Material progress report which includes all items related with MRR, PO, RFI, Shipping documents, Bill of Lading documents, etc in order to prepare the monthly material Invoices to the Client (Saudi Aramco).
 Preparing the Monthly Construction progress report and preliminaries accordance with all the supporting documents in order to prepare the monthly Construction Invoices to the Client.
 Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales
 Measure, Value, Submit & negotiate contract variations with Client
 Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports,
 Assist in preparing cost estimate for different phases of the project, advice the project management on possible cost over runs and on the action necessary to remain within the approved project budget
 Monitor each stage of construction to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts & assess the financial costs of new environmental guidelines.
 Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts & commercial reports.
 Check/evaluate subcontractors’ monthly payment applications and prepare payment certificates with all backup documents.
 Attend the weekly subcontractors’ commercial meeting to tackle payment and commercial related issues arising.
 As a senior, giving the proper guidance for the colleagues in commercial department in order to get the maximum output & efficiencies
 Co-ordinate with all the MEP suppliers to get the proper SPDP (Spare Parts data package) reports and Update the weekly SPDP requirements for MEP items in order to submit the monthly progress reports.
 Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondences
 Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level
 Supply all relevant information to commercial manager for review at the specified interval set
 Assist commercial manager with the range of other duties as may be required from time to time
 Carry out site valuation for monthly progress payment on a weekly basis.
 Updating payment status and subcontractors back charge reports on a weekly basis

Post - Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer (Road & Infrastructure)

Project: Peripheral Road for Barwa City - Approx. QAR 556 Million
Client: ASHGAL
Form of Contract: Lump Sum Contract.
Construction and Commission of- Micro Tunneling, Traffic Diversions, Earthworks, Sub-base, Asphalt, Street Lighting, Landscaping& Traffic Signals. Landscaping & Irrigation, Public Utility Services.
 Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
 Perform technical and commercial review of EPCI long time tenders for preparation of services agreements.
 Responsible to control and monitor the project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
 Identify changes and prepare variation measures, including pricing, submission and negotiation with Client’s Representatives
 Assist Commercial Manager with the preparation of Project and regional commercial forecast as required.
 Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to prepare the customer billing processes.
 Pricing variations to client & Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.
 Evaluation of subcontractor’s valuation & Preparation of Sub Contractors payments and recording / monitoring of all site works
 Prepare the monthly progress report to the Client in order to prepare the monthly invoice.
 Prepare query to Estimator for clarifications and pass it to the Estimator in charge
