Hired as a full-time systems administrator following initial consulting role to manage and maintain a mixed server environment (UNIX), ensuring 99.9% or better uptime. Evaluate, monitor and enhance IT infrastructure with an emphasis on availability, reliability, scalability, security, data confidentiality and system integrity for Riyadh Cable Group is a cable production & Distribution Company in Gulf region (GCC).

Responsibilities:
 OS Installation, Patching of OS, Additional Software.
 Adding and Removing Packages & Patches.
 Files and directory structure, permission, User Management.
 Other System Administration Activities like managing file systems, hardware status monitorin, and performance tuning and security services.
 Scheduling jobs using Cron & at utility.
 Managing Swap space,File System Management
 Backup and restoration of data with in Full and Incremental levels using ufsdump and ufsrestore.
 NFS configuration Troubleshooting/Administration.
 Solaris Volume Manager (SVM),Working on Zones
 Run level & services management
 Providing a Full Fledged support over 24/7 for customers.
