Troubleshoot, support maintenance execution, testing and project commissioning, electrical systems recovery, and any necessary field activities to keep the system running and reliable.
Prepare schedules of work and provides direction for the preparation of conceptual and/or basic designs of electrical and industrial facilities.
Lead engineering data analysis pertinent to complex electrical problems concerning technical issues, scope, economic value, long-range planning, and budgetary considerations in the in-charged area to support the requirement of entire plant-related activities, including high voltage and low voltage.
Execute studies and analysis for existing electrical equipment.
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions from it.
Apply RCM, RCA, FMECA, PMO, and any tools or methodology for reliability analysis and management of electrical assets.
Evaluate the current situation/condition and look for potential improvement opportunities and utilize them to enhance the electrical equipment/plant reliability.
Recommend new modifications to improve existing facilities. Strive for improvement and suggest new ideas and methods for achievingbetter results.
Demonstrate ability to translate electrical improvement techniques into engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability.
Develop technical reports, and deliver them to the executive management when necessary.
Conduct lessons learned sessions, lead change management and process implementation of changes, prepare scope of work for Turn around, develop work schedules, and shutdown execution strategies.
Deliver training on various technical topics to engineer, maintenance, and system operation staff.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
A master’s degree or professional certifications is a plus.
Minimum 6 years of experience in refining and/or petrochemical industry HV&LV Electrical systems operation.
Sound experience in handling complex electrical engineering issues in the in-charged area to ensure that work is completed as perthe set targets, maintain engineering standards about electrical engineering standards.
Practical working knowledge of international standards and specifications. Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards will be a plus.
Sound knowledge and experience analyzing results of electrical testing techniques (Insulin. Resistance, Partial Discharge, Tan Delta, IR Thermography, etc.).
Strong analytical Skills, orientation to results, conceptualization skills, and leadership skills.
Advanced computer literacy (Office tools, CMMS - SAP applications, software for power system analysis and protection coordination,ETAP or similar).

• Review Materials Take-off and ensure all materials are as per the standard and client requirements
• Performed selection, sizing and replacement of switching and control devices
• Coordinated design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion
• resolved site queries, attended pre-qualification meeting, site meetings and performed site inspections .
• Preparing the document for the electrical design basis of overall plant, design basis for cathodic protection system, Cable schedule, area classification, equipment layout etc.
• Manage subcontractor’s supervision and workforce to insure safety, productivity and quality are followed properly
• Experience in construction management system for the Diesel Hydro treater unit and Hydro cracker unit in Jazan Refinery project.
