• Reviewing of tender design drawings and highlighting the discrepancies to the designers.
• Reviewing of the shop drawing /coordination drawings prepared by subcontractors, calculations and material submittals then prepares appropriate recommendations to the senior for final review and process for approvals.
• Coordination of MEP services
• Coordinating with Architects & resolve coordination issue
• Attending meeting with Design Consultants, subcontractors & suppliers
• Assisting in procurement process as & when required
• Assisting project managers in the preparation of material schedules
• Process for the technical approvals for mechanical items.
• Reviewing of tender design drawings and list out the discrepancies, raising RFI’s & NCR.
• Compare the design BOQ with the design drawings and make necessary correction as required before the project is being quote.
• Calculating heat load in accordance with ASHRAE & carrier codes by using HAP software.
• Develop and prepare design sketches, drawings and calculations for HVAC system.
• Done Duct and Chilled water pipe routing and sizing, unit selection.
• Reviewing of the shop drawing /coordination drawings prepared and do rectify if required before send to project site.
• Coordinating with other design disciplines for design integrity
• Contacting suppliers for their technical approvals, preparing material schedules.
• Assisting in quantification of mechanical services items as & when required.
• Involved in designing for HVAC from concept design to tender stage, calculating heat load in accordance with ASHRAE & carrier codes by using HAP software.
• Develop and prepare design sketches, drawings for HVAC system. That includes cooling load estimation, Chilled Water Plant arrangement, pipe sizing, Duct sizing, Ducting layouts, Schematic diagram for AHU, exhaust fans ,and complete tender documents.
• Develop and prepare specifications and BOQ.
• Coordination of mechanical services with clients, architects and structure engineers for design integrity.
• Lead the team consisting of other Design Engineers & Draftsman to meet the deadlines in pressure of work.
• Responsible for the Design & development of HVAC work & Preparing BOQ for Shipra Shopping Mall at Gurgaon-Delhi & various Residences.
