Job Description

  • Visually inspect engine on a receipt for any anomalies
  • Rig up and prepare the engine for test.
  • Load engine in test cell and ensure engine is safe to test
  • Keep accurate logs of tests and document test results for trend analysis.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on engines and test bed.
  • Disassemble engine to the point of defect document results, repair and reassemble if required to meet customer required delivery dates.
  • Maintain routine housekeeping practices and ensure all equipment are in calibration.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Ensure all health and Safety and Fire regulations are complied with.


• Associate, Diploma, technical vocational acquired education.
• Qualified in an aerospace engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of previous experience working in an engine test cell.
• Describing observed system anomalies in formal written Problem Reports.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Word
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Flexible approach.
