WHAT SHOULD WE BE CAPABLE OF & HOW SHOULD WE OPERATE:
- You as a Hostess is responsible for greeting and seating all outlet guests.
- This greeting should be sincere, warm and with enthusiasm ensuring that all guests are seated in an optimum time frame.
- You should take the time to get to know the guests and be committed to service excellence.
- Team play is imperative and having the time to invest in self development is mandatory.
- Being a visionary and thinking beyond the boundaries are expected and not requested.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
PLANNING & ORGANIZING
- Control the flow of all guests into the outlet
- Ensure that all Sea Salt & Co. standards are adhered to
- Create new revolutionary standards
- Keep ahead of industry trends (you should set the trends rather than follow)
- Develop ideas on increasing guest satisfaction
OPERATIONS
- Setting the tone for all guests for their entire Culinary & Service experience
- Seat guests in a manner that every guest will receive the most optimum level of service
- Following up on opening and closing checklists
- Maintain the table management and guest profile data
- Always ensure outlet cleanliness
- Ensure outlet tabletops are set to standard
- Ascertain feedback from guests both internal and external
- Assist service when required
- Be familiar with all our outlets offerings in terms of Culinary & Service to completely on sell all outlet.
- Ensure awareness and deliver the optimum levels of service and guest satisfaction
- Ensure all outlet property and facilities are maintained an in an optimal working order
ADMINISTRATION
- Follow telephone etiquette process
- Establish and maintain effective staff relationships
- Maintaining all outlet records (including the outlet notice board)
