Job Description

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

  1. Trains linen room staff according to set departmental standards and policies and procedures and informs superior on performance.

  2. Assigns staff to specific tasks on daily basis.

  3. Checks linen room items in order to keep up established standards maintained.

  4. Controls issues of linen, uniforms.

  5. Participates in inventory taking.

  6. Prepares reports and requisitions for Executive Housekeeper’s approval.

  7. Coordinates with outlet staff and laundry on special requirements for functions.

  8. Advises subordinates on their work performance.

  9. Recommends possible improvements to operation.

  10. Ensures flow of communication between subordinates and superior is maintained.

  11. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.

Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
