As a Sales Executive - MICE you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility under the general guidance and supervision
The role involves generating and maintaining customers of defined accounts and areas through sales activities like face to face sales calls, telephone calls.
Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
Makes sales calls with the objective of acquiring new and additional corporate accounts/clients and cash business, including Holidays and Leisure
Maintain excellent relations with clients/customers and provide support and assistance ensuring that all MICE requirements are handled efficiently
Keep the Manager informed about competitors and market trends/practices.
Liaise with Manager in formulating strategies aimed at obtaining specific high yield commercial accounts
Maintain and provide regular reports in prescribed formats.
Assists in reconciliation of accounts & collections in coordination with Finance Department
Ensure sales target are met in coordination with other team members.
Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible
Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies.
Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program.
Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Corporate Sales Manager
