Business Marketing Representative

As a business marketing representative in our shipping & operations division of COSCO SHIPPING SPECIALIZED CARRIERS (SOUTHEAST ASIA) PTE. LTD., your key focus is to collect the market and client information in Saudi Arabia and provide the best service for the clients, conduct the technical guidance for loading and discharging operation when the fleet of COSCO SHIPPING SPECIALIZED CARRIERS CO. LTD calling the port of Saudi Arabia and dispatch vessels under the safety situation.

Responsibilities:

• Collect the market business and client information for the break bulk and other Specialized cargo fleet voyage and/or T/C basis in Saudi Arabia, Identify the customers and their needs.
• Understand customer needs, and provide the best service to the clients of Saudi Arabia.
• Conclude and execute best business in line with shipping management guidance and targets.
• Conduct the technical guidance for loading and discharging operations when COSCO SHIPPING SPECIALIZED CARRIERS Fleet vessels calling the port of Saudi Arabia, if necessary, attend the loading or discharging operation on site.
• Coordinate the local agent and the operator of the fleet vessels to dispatch vessels under the safety situation in Saudi Arabia port.
• Make the weekly and monthly management reporting and follow the instruction of shipping & operations division and company leaders.

• Comply with the Global Safety Standards, Polices and Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of business-to-business solutions selling experience required with a focus on prospecting new customers and developing existing business relationships, Familiar with the market of heavy lift project cargo and / or Paper Pulp is preferred.
• At least 2 years cargo operations experience in similar industry, Familiar with the cargo operations of heavy lift project cargo and / or Paper Pulp is preferred.
• To possess strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated business math and intermediate computer skills with MS Office skillsets.
• Good relation with the ship-owner of Break bulk & heavy lift cargo and other Specialized carriers is preferred.
• Good relation with the main client of Specialized cargo or ENR top 250 is preferred.
• To have Class 3 driving license and own vehicle is preferred.
• To have a chief office or captain’s license of ocean-going vessels is preferred.
• To have the practical of port captain or Stevedore company foreman is preferred.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.
• Saudi Arabia Citizen or Permit residence with non - Chinese passport.

Additional Information:

Years of Experience: 2 years or above

Job Type: Full-Time, working in Saudi Arabia and Biz trip in Saudi Arabia and nearby country.
