We are now looking for a Sous-Chef who is currently in Saudi Arabia who will be assisting our Executive Chef.

Where we specialize in Indian food

Main tasks:

  • Ensure high quality food production by meticulously preparing and implementing internal production processes.
  • Support the Executive Chef in preparing new recipes and in writing technical papers for menu items for mass production.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and storage areas are tidy and that all products are stored appropriately.
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards, and use safe and hygienic food handling practices.
  • Manage inventory appropriately.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members.
  • Assist with all kitchen duties assigned by the chef and management as needed.

Required skills:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • Accuracy and speed in the implementation of food production.
  • Fluency in English allowing easy communication with Chef and Management.
  • Experience in creating technical English language papers for recipes and menus.
  • Experience in preparing industrial food is a big plus
  • Excellent record of kitchen management and staff.
  • Ability to work during night shifts (12 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
