Role Purpose

Working closely with GM on developing and executing the Pay TV content strategy through content modelling and acquisition of linear channels and on-demand programs, and budget of the platform in line with the organization’s objectives

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

§  Work with clients, management team, Strategy & Analysis, and IPTV Marketing on product development.

§  Direct end-to-end content acquisition and business affairs activities in support of the GM.

§  Identify and implement the optimal acquisition approach for all content products and services including all forms of commercial/partnership agreements with content providers.

§  Collaboratively recommends, and implement effective content packaging, positioning, and pricing of content products and services.

§  Support Business Development in writing business plans, pitching to potential clients, and managing new business initiatives; Developing the content proposition for new potential clients.

§  Working with Technolgy on technical due diligence, ensuring available and necessary CP approvals from content providers are secured

§  Managing invoices with suppliers;  getting internal approvals and following up with Finance on all payments

§  Analyse research on programs / content to be acquired

§  Identify potential partners / suppliers for acquisition of VOD and channels content

§  Build relationships with studios and potential partners for content acquisition

§  Select and recommend programs, channels, and premium bouquets in consultation with all stakeholders based on business strategy, budget and reestimates, and business needs

§  Acquire programs and channels with the required terms and conditions, for the best price, and within budget

§  Manage the contracts and right management process

§  Issue PRFs and steer the approval process

§  Direct the preparation of contracts, working closely with the Legal team to structure, draft, and finalize agreements. Manage contracts and supplier relationships on a daily basis

Attending TVs and Film markets including MIPTV, MIPCOM, and DISCOP Turkey and providing input on Media updates and developments
