Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.
- Perform ethical hacking and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
- Configure, manage, and monitor Cisco firewalls and other security appliances.
- should have at least 2 years experinc in cyber security.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and incident response drills.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system architecture and practices.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to security incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and security trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on expertise in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco firewall configuration and management.
- Familiarity with IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
- Industry certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CCNA Security, CISM (CISM is a must-have).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
