The Projects Manager is responsible for monitoring and controlling all projects, supervise PMO team, elaborating reports, participate on meetings, gathering all needed information from various departments and communicate with Stakeholders and assist PMO Director in his daily business.
Act as the primary point of contact and communicate construction project status adequately to all participants
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant projects information to other departments and the Project Director through regular reports
Keep the Projects Director and others informed about construction project status and issues that may impact company relations with other parties
Notify Project Director for potential risks to the Project completion and identify / seek measures as to avoid or reduce the impact of the potential risks.
Assist the Project Director in the review of Contractor submittals for approval and recommend actions to be taken in advance in order to avoid Construction delays
Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the Client’s database
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
Update Project Management docs (Risk Register, Issue Log, Earned Value, Action Plan, etc.) for all Projects and distribute them to various Stakeholders.
Control the agreed Schedule and Cost Control of the Projects getting any info needed from Finance Department.
Supervise the PMO team, chair meetings and assist PMO director on assigning tasks and evaluate team members.
