Job Description:
Performs a variety of translation and interpreting work of average difficulty and complexity from and into Arabic and English. The scope of this position involves the translation of moderately difficult and complex letters, invoices, contracts, medical reports, and other material. The work performed, although normally of a less confidential nature, covers an essential area of Company operations and Company-Government communication and correspondence.
Skills
- BA/BS degree in Language Science, Business Administration, Economics, Science.
- Five (5) years of experience as a professional translator, or six years’ experience in such professions as journalism or teaching.
- Thorough knowledge of modern written Arabic and English, and ability to pass the Division's translation test.
- Familiarity with phraseology used in such fields as healthcare, HR, finance, industrial relations.
- Ability to acquire quickly a basic knowledge of the organizational structure of JHAH and the Saudi Government.
