Job Purpose:

To execute& track various initiatives of the brand communications strategyas per the instructions of the Communications Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Execute Branding Activities
  • Assist the Communications Manager indeveloping an annual branding and promotion plan/calendar
  • Carry out all tasks needed to implement the branding initiatives planned by the Manager
  • Assist the Communications Manager inoperationalizing marketing initiatives for brand promotion like production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements etc
  • Assist the Communications Manager inliaising with appropriate external agencies
  • Interact with the Sales& Marketingteams to get on ground support for execution of campaigns and other initiatives
  • Go regularly to the market and evaluate product display across retail outlets
  • Help Communications Manager in any other tasks , analysis as required
  • Operationalize the company’s initiatives on the internet by providing appropriate content and feedback post clearance from Communications Manager
  • Keep track of inventory of various marketing materials including giveaway, banners etc
  • Get feedback from principals, store managers, owners about the brand and service levels
  • Draft action plans to improve brand image
  • Suggest different types of giveaway that suits the brand
  • Track competitor activities (pricing, promotions, events, sponerships,etc) on a weekly basis and report the same to the Marketing Director.
  • Report as per agreed frequency on BSC (SMART) using relevant performance measures
  • Communicate regularly with Communications Manager, Merchandising and Trade marketing managers, Sales teams, purchasing, Store and Warehousing
  • Communicates periodically with external agencies (market research firms, ad agencies etc)

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Management, preferably in marketing, design or advertising.

Experience :

  • 2 – 4 years in Marketing Communications, Advertising, Traffic Management.

Job specific Skills :

  • Understanding of media advertising, PR, creative development
  • Analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of branded food sector in KSA
  • Understanding of basic marketing concepts

Generic Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( MS-Excel, MS- PowerPoint , MS- Word& MS – Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Web Design.
  • Working knowledge of Arabic and English
