Job Purpose:

To process accounting transactions on time while maintaining accuracy

Key Accountabilities:

Enter and Maintain daily records
Assign entries to proper accounts and maintain records for verifications
Maintain necessary documentation for sufficient period of time as may be required
Ensure proper filing of back up documents / invoices
Assist other senior people in the Finance department with any relevant analysis as required from time to time
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions
Compliance with Corporate Policy
Understand and comply with the accounting policies laid down by the Group for all accounting transactions. These specifically pertain to: Supporting documentation and Approvals
Timely posting of accounting transactions in ERP package is critical to ensure that financial system reflects the correct information
Ongoing communication with the other SBU function managers
Reporting relationship with Chief Accountant / Finance Manager

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Commerce
ERP knowledge preferable
