الوصف الوظيفي

Job Purpose:

To develop, gain agreement to and guide the implementation of compensation & benefits and other employment policies, strategies and processes to ensure people are compensated and rewarded according to their accountabilities and contribution, and enhance the attraction and retention of top talent.

Strategy Development and Implementation

§ Develop and direct the implementation of the departmental strategy ensuring alignment to the divisional strategy, Zamil Offshore’s vision, mission and corporate objectives.

§ Ensure the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide counsel to Zamil Offshore’s leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of Zamil Offshore’s strategy and departmental strategies.


§ Manage the effective achievement of departmental objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating team to maximise performance.

Budgeting and Financial Performance

§ Oversee the consolidation and recommend the departmental budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/ revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

Rewards Management

§ Ensure the compensation benchmarking studies are conducted annually to analyse the reward competitiveness against similar organisation that Zamil Offshore can gain talent from and lose talent to.

§ Design and implement the compensation structure including the benefits provided across all levels at Zamil Offshore to ensure alignment with the market and Zamil Offshore pay philosophy.

§ Manage and administer the merit increase and bonus incentive plan to ensure the desired outcome is achieved.

§ Review all the promotions proposed by the departments and work closely with the chiefs and assess their validity and accuracy with the rules, processes and organisation structure of the company.

Payroll Management

§ Manage and guide the administration of monthly payroll processes and activities to ensure that all Zamil Offshores employees are paid correctly and in a timely manner.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

§ Develop and lead the implementation of the departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned functional so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.

Change Management

§ Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.


Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Zamil Offshore requirements, policies and quality standards



• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Human Resource Management

• Professional qualification from an international recognized Chartered Institute (SHRM, CIPD, GRP) is desirable


• 10 – 12 years of experience in Human Resources; with at least 4 years of experience in a managerial position
• Specialisation in Compensation & Benefits is desirable
