Perform hair straightening, cutting, trimming and blow drying activities .
Produce desired effect by colouring, highlighting, bleaching, dyeing and tinting hair.
Apply simple and complex make-up to enhance or alter the face features and ensure overall look/effect is consistent and coherent.
Demonstrate and implement practical understanding of lighting and the impact of special effects/make-up processes on the skin.
Determine the Make-up shades and types suitable for every client.
Respect Punctuality and follow the schedule in order to ensure prompt attendance to appointments and perform meticulous services within the appropriate time assigned for each service.
Analyse the hair for its capacity to respond to the application of chemicals without adverse effects, taking account of hair length, type, condition, and previous treatments.
Examine and evaluate the condition and appearance of hair and skin by conducting client consultation using the appropriate form to identify any allergies/ health issues before performing any service and to provide proper advice for hair and skin care needs.
Recommend and provide treatment upon assessing hair and scalp condition; and perform hair style consultation in order to assist clients regarding the type of hairstyle and treatment suitable for them.
Comply with all safety procedures and techniques for performing hair services and maintain high sterilization standards and hygiene according to the law and the health and safety regulations.
Ensure complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while enlightening guest in these areas.
Actively promote and upsell the treatments, services and retail, as well as the newsletter promotions.
Perform inventory and restocking assignments in work stations.
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and complaints by guests ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Maintain professional and courteous behaviour to all clients and demonstrate proper greeting and assistance.
Sustain existing clientele records and aim at building potential customer database.
Report to Supervisor/ team Leader regarding any occurrences involving damaged equipment/ incidents in the spa.
Follows SOP’s for quality service and municipality regulations.
Attend and participate in continuous education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques.
