Our client is a Global Accounting & Consulting firm and they are seeking applications from experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM) specialists to join the management consulting firm. As a BCM Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting clients with developing, implementing, and maintaining effective business continuity strategies, plans, and processes to ensure the resilience of their business operations.

Contract: 3 months

Location: Saudi Arabia

On site/ Hybrid

Experience: Minimum of 10 years

These are short term assignment contract for duration of 2-3 months


1.     Develop and implement business continuity management frameworks, strategies, and plans for clients, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

2.     Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities that could impact business operations and perform risk assessments to determine possible impacts and mitigation strategies.

3.     Conduct business impact analyses to assess critical business functions, dependencies, and recovery time objectives.

4.     Design and implement incident response, crisis management, and disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of disruptions and ensure the continuity of operations.

5.     Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and conduct regular testing and exercises of business continuity plans, capturing lessons learned and making necessary improvements.

6.     Provide expert guidance and training to client personnel on business continuity management principles, policies, and procedures.

7.     Monitor and evaluate emerging threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes related to business continuity management, and recommend appropriate actions to clients.

8.     Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in BCM and contribute to the continuous improvement of BCM methodologies and processes.


1.     Must have excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.

2.     Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

3.     Minimum of 10 years of experience in business continuity management, crisis management, or related fields.

4.     In-depth knowledge and understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management principles, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34).

5.     Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and developing business continuity strategies and plans.

6.     Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.

7.     Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.

8.     Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, IT teams, and external vendors.

9.     Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

10.  Proficient in using BCM tools and software for risk assessment, incident management, and plan development (e.g., Bwise, ResilienceOne).
