Key Responsibilities:
- Site Coordination & Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate crane operations at client sites.
- Ensure proper placement, setup, and dismantling of cranes and lifting equipment.
- Allocate and monitor tasks for riggers, signalmen, and operators.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure all lifting operations adhere to industry and company standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
- Report incidents and near-misses promptly and participate in investigations.
- Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary on-site contact for clients and address operational needs or concerns.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and professional conduct.
- Resource Management:
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for crane movement and manpower deployment.
- Monitor and manage on-site equipment and materials.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily site reports, lift plans, equipment checklists, and permit documentation.
- Track work progress and report to senior management regularly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in crane operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Diploma or certification in mechanical, civil, or related engineering field is a plus.
- Knowledge of lifting operations, crane safety regulations, and load charts.
- Certified Rigger or Lifting Supervisor (as per regional regulations) preferred.
