JOB SUMMARY:
• Repairs and preventive maintenance of clinical equipment will be the primary task of the engineer. Tasks are assigned and completed based on the engineers’ area of specialization. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts preventive maintenance checks and inspections by observations and application of test instruments.
• Analyses equipment for failure, faults or malfunctions based on experience and skill, application of test instruments and reference to technical literature and schematics.
• Performs inspection and commissioning of new clinical equipment.
• Prepares requisitions for spare parts.
• Responsible for following policies and codes of practice relevant to their processes.
• Performs other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job and as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
