To plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to workshop operations, field service, and manufacturing. The Project Engineer ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of services including drilling equipment repair, field service interventions, and the setup of new catwalk manufacturing operations, while meeting quality and HSE standards that add value to Kenera’s operation.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
Project Execution & Technical Delivery:
•Lead all technical aspects of assigned projects from initiation to completion on drilling & Rig equipment • Approve and manage technical specifications and ensure compliance with standards. • Responsible for resource allocation, and workflow efficiency. • Ensure equipment is serviced or manufactured to OEM standards and delivered on time. • Interface with manufacturers, internal teams, and customers to ensure technical alignment. • Provide technical supervision for new builds, refurbishments, and maintenance projects. • Implement quality assurance procedures and ensure adherence to HSE directives.
Project Planning & Coordination:
• in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Assist in developing full-scale project plans including resource and schedule requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate technical proposals and contribute to the development of company standards.
• Maintain project documentation including specifications, reports, and communication records.
Reporting & Communication:
• Prepare and present project progress reports, highlighting challenges and solutions.
• Provide post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
• Ensure effective communication across departments and with external stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Support:
• Collaborate with maintenance and workshop teams as needed.
• Support colleagues from other departments to ensure project success.
• Conduct site, vendor, contractor, and customer visits as required.
