Role Purpose:

Ensure profitable volume growth & activate the ranging from identifying market opportunities to screening them and supporting the setup of a divisional unit to deliver. The Business Winning Manager will support the company’s steering committee in the projects selection, decisions & projects approval along with projects setup processes. Developing and implementing strategic business plans and initiatives to drive the company's growth across all products and sectors. Also improving the company's profitability, analyzing performance, and proposing improvements.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Review and validate commercial strategic & business planning process and provide advice and recommendation to the GM.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Drive the design of overall commercial strategy in coordination with AAC’s Executive Management.

ROLE AND PURPOSE:

  • Support business goals by providing input and ensuring adherence to operating budget for commercial department.
  • Manage and drive the formation of bidding process by preparing/collating the needed documentation.
  • Lead market research, trend analysis, competitive analysis to identify regional growth trends and new opportunities.
  • Lead the development of business plans, market sizing, market share analysis, growth plans.
  • Contribute key insights to annual Business Winnings’ planning and budgeting process, and provide advice and recommendations to AAC’s annual financial plan, budget and budget control report.
  • Monitor and evaluate Business Winning on-going performance and quality of its outputs and services to identify and initiate actions of improvement and innovation
  • Manage the pre-qualifying business opportunities in assistance with Solutions & Design division
  • Manage the partnerships development with new and existing clients

 

Job context & operating environment

  • The position reports to the General Manager, who will also review the jobholder’s performance.
  • The Commercial Director will have a medium degree of independence in taking the lead in developing after sales plans, models & capabilities to ensure the required services, deliverables, and implementation will be achieved on time and to the required standard.
  • The Commercial Director will oversee the day-to-day Operations business line activities, ensuring successful results.

  • The position exercises financial authority at the level established by management for that position.
  • Makes own decisions on matters within the purview of the job and refers major decisions and recommendations to the next-higher level of supervision for advice and further handling.
  • Keeping confidential information consists of any of employee, clients and related parties, copyrights and promised copyrights, personal information, business information, and any information that comes out of working in Strategy and Business Development service line should be maintained by the jobholder.
  • Furthermore, the position complies with company processes, procedures, and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, Skills & Knowledge.

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Management Information Systems or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 10-12 years of experience within the same sector, with at least 3 years of experience in commercial/business development/business winning lines within security solutions segment.
  • Special Skills: Excellent language abilities of Arabic and English, MS Proficient.
