Painter / Coater
Removes old paintwork using abrasive blasting methods and then applies new coatings with industrial paint spraying equipment.
Typial Day/Duties.
Uses suitable safety equipment e.g. harnesses, cradles, protective personal equipment
Prepares work areas using special treatments and abrasive blasting
Applies industrial finishes using paint spraying methods

Works for specialist companies or construction firms who provide painting and coating services both offshore and onshore. By the nature of activity, most of the work is conducted outside and involves working in all weathers.
Basic entry requirements include (necessary)
Relevant experience as an industrial painter
Offshore Survival certificate
Offshore Medical certificate
