Medic
The Medic is responsible for providing medical care for personnel offshore or on a designated plant/ worksite; including maintaining records and producing reports whilst ensuring medical facilities and medicines are up-to date and accurate.
Typial Day/Duties.
Provides acute health/ medical care to personnel who have been involved in accidents or become unwell while offshore.
Ensures that stocks of medical supplies are maintained to the appropriate levels.
Supports the coordination of medical evacuations from offshore installations/ vessels.
Ensures that all relevant onshore and offshore personnel are informed of status updates in relation to injury management of personnel.
Safely stores prescribed medication for personnel and issues as appropriate.
Ensures that all relevant paperwork is completed accurately in a timely manner and filed appropriately.
Prepare relevant reports in a timely manner.
Active member of the onsite Emergency Response Team.

This role is vital to ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of personnel working offshore or on a worksite. The Medic would be the first line of response and care for any personnel involved in an accident or becoming unwell while offshore or on worksite.
Basic entry requirements include (necessary)
Recognised Nursing Qualification or
Royal Navy/Royal Marines/Royal Fleet Auxiliary Medics or
Army Medical Assistant or RAF Medical Assistant
Basic offshore induction and emergency training (BOSIET)
Offshore Medical Certificate
