Chef
Provides a quality catering service, usually on an offshore installation, or may be based in a plant or corporate headquarters.
Typial Day/Duties.
Plans menus
Deals with suppliers
Orders stock, rotates stock and does stock-taking
Manages the budget
Organises staff, including rotas
Ensures the prompt service of all meals at the required times
Prepares, monitors and maintains the quality of the food
Ensures the kitchen follows hygiene and health and safety guidelines
Investigates customer complaints

Will work for companies that supply catering services to the oil & gas industry. Will involve shift work, which may have early starts and late finishes.
Basic entry requirements include (necessary)
City & Guilds Hospitality & Catering Principles
Offshore survival (if offshore role)
Offshore medical certificate (if offshore role)
Catering experience
