الوصف الوظيفي

Basic Job Description-  Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services.

Salary: SAR 2,500-3,000

Nationality: Preferably Indian

Experience: 3+ years in same field

Language: Arabic & English

Job Bulletin: The Establishment of the ALTABOUN Company is looking for an experienced professional Purchasing Manager. This position performs the full range of purchasing duties .The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, decision-maker, and excellent communicator who relates well to people; has strong professional knowledge and technical skills; is responsive to ALTABOUN Company priorities, and is an active team member who can execute assignments from beginning to end. This person will be well-organized, customer service oriented, and approachable. Must always maintain an exceptional relationship with the suppliers.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Forecast levels of demand for services and products.
  • Keep a constant check on stock levels.
  • Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided.
  • Process payments and invoices.
  • Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Give presentations about market analysis and possible growth.
  • Develop a purchasing strategy.
  • Produce reports and statistics using computer software.
  • Evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors.
  • Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.
  • Train and supervise the work of other members of staff.

Ability to:

·        Plan, organize, and manage purchasing functions; negotiate contracts and purchasing agreements; analyze, interpret, and effectively apply purchasing standards, requirements, and procedures; prepare and maintain accurate and complete purchasing records; prepare clear and concise reports; prepare and administer budgets; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants, staff, management, and the general public; operate computer equipment and use word processing, spreadsheet, and specialized software programs.
