We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent service.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register/POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
- Assist with bagging or packing purchases.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling.
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
