HR Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Officer to join our HR & Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee documentation, Saudi government portals, employee lifecycle activities, Saudization compliance, and employee relations in accordance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related activities.
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records.
  • Handle employee documentation, contracts, certificates, letters, and other HR documents.
  • Manage employee onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and joining formalities.
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including transfers, promotions, leave, and other employee movements.
  • Handle employee offboarding, clearance, final documentation, and exit procedures.
  • Manage HR-related transactions through Qiwa, Muqeem, MHRSD/MOL, Taqat, GOSI, Mudad/WPS, and other relevant Saudi government platforms.
  • Monitor and support Saudization/Nitaqat compliance.
  • Ensure HR practices and procedures comply with Saudi Labor Law and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, Iqama, passports, work permits, insurance, and other documents.
  • Handle employee grievances, disputes, and workplace issues professionally and in accordance with company policies and Saudi regulations.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and external service providers when required.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation for management.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant HR experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and HR regulations.
  • Practical experience with Saudi government and HR portals, including:
    • Qiwa
    • Muqeem
    • MHRSD / MOL
    • Taqat
    • GOSI
    • Mudad / WPS
    • Other relevant government platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Saudization/Nitaqat requirements and compliance.
  • Strong experience in employee documentation and personnel file management.
  • Practical experience in employee onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding.
  • Good knowledge of employee relations and dispute resolution.
  • Fluent in English – Mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Saudi HR compliance and government procedures.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Experience in an FMCG, trading, distribution, or similar business environment is an advantage.
