Responsibilities:
- Backend Development: Develop, and maintain backend APIs and services using PHP and Laravel.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions.
- Integration: Integrate external services and APIs into the backend architecture.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
- Documentation: Document code, processes, and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver features on time.
Skills:
- Expertise in PHP programming language and Laravel framework.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Proficiency in version control using Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a backend developer with PHP and Laravel (typically 3+ years).
- Portfolio of projects demonstrating backend development expertise.
- Certification in PHP or Laravel is a plus.
