REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have extensive pump, mechanical seals, valves, gear box, bearings, couplings, motors experience, stripping, repairing, assembling, and testing.
- Good knowledge of pump, couplings, bearings, gear box, repair & installations / commissioing
- Good knowledge of mechanical seals dismantling and assembly as per drawing.
- Good knowledge of lathes, milling machines, power tools and must be able to use them to complete jobs.
- Able to work at site or workshop.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a hands-on mechanical technician.
- Good fault finding ability.
- Must be a hands on person.
- Must be deadline orientated.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with fellow staff members.
- Must be energetic, go getter.
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
