We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager for one of the world's leading knowledge providers in Riyadh, KSA. This role will be to build on client's existing credibility and utilize the launch of their office in Saudi Arabia, to maximize the significant market opportunity for events, training and consulting.

Job Purpose

  • Actively secure and develop strategic relationships with key organizations
  • Become a trusted advisor for key stakeholders on internal capability projects and business transformation needs
  • Lead the project delivery team from needs development to successfully execution
  • Build and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with new and existing clients
  • Actively promote client’s reputation with all stakeholders, whilst increasing profitability and meeting set business development objectives

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop new accounts by leveraging client’s reputation as market leader in the business education and events space
  • Follow-up on inbound leads that come via our events, website, digital, referrals and marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrate a consultative, client-focused approach that reinforces client as a trusted partner in the Kingdom
  • Work closely with support departments to ensure a best-in-class client offering
  • Respond to RFPs with proposals that reflect client’s image
  • Forecast and report efficiently and accurately

  • Motivated self-starter with the capability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills
  • Client-focused with the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and partners
  • Above average listening and consultative selling skills - looks first to understand and only then to be understood
  • Tender and proposal writing capability
  • A strong relationship builder
  • A proven ability and desire to work in a target based environment
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working with and managing a CRM (e.g Salesforce)

Background - Essential

  • Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in both English & Arabic
  • Minimum of 8 years in a business environment
  • Minimum of 5 years solutions sales experience with a proven track record of high value client management
  • Face to face selling and relationship building experience
  • Financially numerate / competent
  • Excellent communicator

Desirable

  • Related industry knowledge
  • Advisory / consulting / training / events business development background

Minimum Education Level Required

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent
