Responsibilities: 1-Keep the production flow smooth by securing the needed materials timely, & to ensure that the production doesn’t run out of the materials needed. 2-Monitor and maintain the stock level of the inventory by watching the trends and the actual production to make sure that there are always enough stock of the needed materials. 3-Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries. 4-To handle all communications and daily follow up with suppliers. 5-Create new material codes & maintain Material master data - by maintaining proper log sheets & by taking approval from line manager to proceed. 6-Create & Follow up PR release from Planning Manager. 7-Raise Purchase orders and follow up them with the PO releasers, ensuring timely placement and delivery of components in line with production planning Requirements. 8-Get suppliers confirmation on delivery date and maintain the proper record. 9-Apply insurance for the imported materials (need to discuss with VB & to include in Imported tracking sheet) 10-Coordinating with other plants for calling - off required materials. 11-Maintain proper filing and record system (Ex. Approved Supplier Specification, order confirmation, Q.C rejections/ complain log sheet, insurance certificates, quotations, BOM amended log sheet etc.). 12-Issue inbound delivery sheet of imported materials to WH & In-Bound Logistics. 13-Extract and prepare planning reports from the system on timely fashion. • MRP • Open orders • Safety stock vs stock • Inventory value (DOH value) report • Material delivery Inventory report • Suppliers complain (performance & Issue) report • Imported Shipments documents tracking sheet • Promotional/ initiatives orders tracking sheet • Balance Score card (BSC) with Summary • WH Material tracking sheet • Demonstrated Lead Time vs Target 14- Coordinating with commercial team for calling -off required materials. 15- Coordinating with other plants for calling -off required materials. 16- Any other task given by the management within his area of expertise. 17-Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products 18-Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand 19-Prepare and submit status and performance reports 20-Liaises with sales division to determine customer requirements 21-Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date 22-Liaises with customers, suppliers, the human resources department, and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, 23-and machinery will be available when required 24-Troubleshoots problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions 25-Collects and assesses data about the production and team's performance Skills & Requirements : BCs in Industrial Engineering is required, however Master degree is preferred. Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience in Material and Production Planning. Good and effective communication and negotiation skills, leadership. Proactive and Team player. Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment. High planning skills and experienced in driving that into related functions. Microsoft Project Management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Strong coordination and integration skills Organization skills allowing successful performance of assigned tasks while supporting multiple teams Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus) Saudi Male.
