• Interpret the transmitter frequency spectrum in terms of frequency distribution, power output, receiver response, and an acceptable spectrum curve.
  • Describe the methods for measuring the average and peak power outputs of a radar transmitter.
  • Describe the methods of measuring receiver sensitivity.
  • Define receiver bandwidth in terms of the receiver response curve and state.
  • Understand and troubleshoot various parts of Radar-Transmitter, Waveguides, Antenna, Duplexer, Receiver and Threshold Decision.
  • Provide Operation, maintenance and sustainment to the Radar system at site. Exposure to different frequency band version of Simulator.
  • Report findings/discrepancies as required via Maintenance Action Forms, written / electronic de-brief and/or write a Technical Assistance Visit Report (TAVR)
  • Use complex test instruments such as oscilloscopes, high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer controlled equipment.
  • Perform fault diagnosis on complex electrical equipment/installations/control systems and circuiting electronic devices; repairs and re-commissions as required.
