Responsibilities include:

- Specifying group HSE philosophy, objectives & goals, coordinating with HSE supervisors on what HSE reviews to be conducted, assigning responsibilities, how HSE will be managed (meetings, training, audits etc). - Assist in Defining Policies and guidelines on HSE matters.

- Coordinate, monitor and guide HSE supervisors to review, develop and implement HSE system, conduct risk analysis for the business units and recommend any changes that may be necessary.

- Ensure that HSE system is periodically appraised and if necessary revised and Conduct HSE audit to monitor effectiveness of HSE system

- Assist in monitoring group businesss processes and procedures to ensure that they comply with the highest standards in health and safety regulations and legal requirements.

- Support Corporate initiatives by conducting analysis on environmental aspects, impact evaluation and assist with settling of HSE objectives, targets and management programs with business units.
