- Working as Sales Engineer in steel Structure
- Selling mainly to Civils Contractors in the Construction Industry
- Generating quotes from various sources
- Raising quote request forms to design and estimation department based on the customer’s requirements/ consultant's drawings in order to get the cost of project.
- able to identify new leads and generate sales and new accounts within the market for Steel Reinforcement products (cut & bent rebar, welded mesh, coupers, accessories etc.)
- Familiar with the international steel codes.
- Prepare a technical - commercial offer for submitting to customers.
- Negotiate with customers and finalize the jobs.
- Collection of payments and acceptable letter of credits to complete the jobs & Financial Settlements
- Presenting company steel products to the customers.
- Respond to functional & technical elements of RFIs-RFPs.
- Study customer inquiry & convey project requirements to estimation & project departments.
- Prepare customer offer including commercial & technical parts
- Follow up with the customer after he receive the material at job site , and follow with him till the erection is complete.
- Establishing new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
- Preparing sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
Required Skills:

knowledge of Steel Reinforcement Market Presentable.

Minimum 5 years' experience in Steel Reinforcement or Building Materials to the Construction Industry.

Knowledge of aided design (CAD) software

Knowledge of metals and their properties

Knowledge of how to use and care for their equipment

Understanding of safety procedures

Technical skills for drawing and interpreting plans

Customer relations management and customer service

Welding skills
-
Self-motivated and able to meet monthly sales targets.
