Main Role:
To support the development of integrated solutions and to perform tests to assess the compatibility of the applications and the compliance to business needs
- Reviews the reported business needs and proceeds to their analysis so as to identify the nature, requirements, degree, and difficulty of integration
- Communicates and agrees with his/her supervisor on the change requests and the architecture framework provided so as to agree on the best approach of client requests
- Searches the data base of the available applications and systems to identify the already developed tools that can be utilized for the satisfaction of business needs
- Proceeds to the analysis of current systems and applications, identifying if and how can be integrated, in order to leverage solutions performance and satisfy business needs
- Executes demo integration tests to identify the effectiveness and efficiency of the integrated solutions and their compliance with set target and goals
- Reports the results of integration tests and informs accordingly his/her supervisor concerning the compatibility of the applications and systems, the compliance with business requests, and feasibility of integration
- Analyses the tests’ results and proposes solutions to overcome any potential problem
- Cooperates closely with the applications development team so as to effectively communicate the requirements for the development of applications that will support the integration process
- Assesses business processes, installation procedures, user guides, training, data conversion and operating procedures to ensure that all cooperate effectively, so as to support that successful release of the application to production.
