Urgently required Planning Engineer to work with us at our Al Bukayriyah Project, in order to ensure that the project is completed timely, safely, and on budget

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning engineer is able to study the project contract and design documents to develop Schedules, Plans and oversee the entire contract scope of work
Planning engineer works closely with the site construction team to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient.
Planning engineer plans organizes, and coordinates planning activities with entire project stakeholders
Planning engineer use the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope
Planning engineer Inputs the work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project
Planning engineer sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates
Planning engineer prepares cash flow, charts, and histograms
Planning engineer will verify the critical path and interfaces between design/ engineering/procurement/execution
Planning engineer will monitor progress periodically and compares it with the baseline
Planning engineer will update the schedule based on inputs received from the project team
Planning engineer will prepare to look ahead and recovery schedule in coordination with the site construction team to meeting the target millstones dates
Planning engineers will prepare / monitor daily/weekly/ monthly work progress for a project and provide accurate reports by swiftly highlighting any type of delays or project slippages
A planning engineer must analyze the schedule and highlight critical activities to management to ensure the critical issues are resolved on time to avoid any delays
Planning engineers shall prepare cash flow and manpower requirements based on a time schedule to anticipate cost/labor related impacts on project lifetime
Planning engineer attend progress review meetings with client and present status of the project and discuss progress related issue, whenever required
Planning engineer is responsible to assist project manager for prepare extension of time (EOT)and delay analysis to avoid any liquidated damages.
Planning Engineer must visit project sites to verify the reports with coordination of site construction team throughout the project cycle and adjustments in the plan if necessary.

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

Degree Qualified in Planning or Civil Engineering
8+ years’ experience in planning with exposure to large scale complex projects in Building and Infrastructure
Fluent in English and Arabic - Spoken and Written.
Experience residential building projects.
Primavera expertise is preferred.
