Responsibilities:
Direct and manage a team of construction inspectors and consultant engineers to ensure that the project quality control procedures are used for the structures supervision works.
Use effective project management and controls systems to regularly report on progress to the client team.
Attend technical and progress meetings with the Contractor, Client, and Staff daily to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the plans, professional standards, client requirements, and corporate objective.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety objectives.
Ensure that the Construction Supervision team members effectively identify, manage and report project risks.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Review and approve contractor change order requests.
Review all project contract Items and demands.
Review project specifications according to standard codes.
Review and approve all design drawings in all stages (concept, pre-final and final design), modelling and calculations submitted by the designer.
Review and approve (shop drawings, as-built drawings) submitted by the contractor.
Review and approve all method statements submitted by the contractor.
Review and approve the contractor\'s invoices.
Supervise, Inspect and approve all works on site.
Review and approve QA & QC plans and procedures.
Review and approve companies\' pre-qualification & materials.
Hand over the project from the contractor to the client and supervising on the finishing of the snag list if exists.
