Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided.
Establish and maintain vendor relationships
Conduct research to ascertain material price trends and availability
Develop and record market knowledge and contacts for new materials and services
Monitor the arrival date of goods to ensure all the goods are arriving on time
Assist purchase manager in the process of price negotiation and payment term with supplier
Assist purchase manager in the development of specifications for material ,and machines and equipment
Co-ordination with logistics department to ensure smooth movement of the purchase item from suppliers warehouse to the company's site
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
