1-For the past 10+ Years I am working in Construction Industry as Electrical
Engineer & Supervisor. Within this period I have a comprehensive
experience in Installation of Power Panel Boards, Junction/Utility box,
Pull box, Isolator Switch, Breakers, Cable Trays & Ladders, Cable
Trunking, Security systems, Access Control system, Lighting control
system, Switches and Wiring Installations, Cable rooting & Cable pulling.
2- Interprets and working from Electrical Drawings, Schematics, Wiring
Diagrams, and Client specifications to determine layout of Electrical
Equipment’s.
3-Having thorough experience in the area of Transformer, RMUs, LT & HT
Panel installation, and final testing & Commissioning.
4- Well familiar with National and International Standard & specifications.
5- Adept in handling Quality related activities involving in-process
inspection and coordination with various department.
6- All electrical low and medium voltage installation work, which are being
carried out as per approved shop drawings and BOQ specifications.
7- Accountable for attending meeting with team/ user for resolving
different technical issues.
8- Attend Snag and de snag inspection with Consultant and Client as part of
project handover activities
9- Prepare Technical documents and ensure that the work was carried in
accordance to the drawings and specifications
10- Maintain the operation of purchasing the electrical Materials to the
project in time.
11- Reporting to senior management on various electrical aspects of the
system and suggesting possible changes for better quality and cost
saving.
12- Maintain the safety measures on site and ensure that all quality control
regulations are met
13- Maintain the different phases of the project and evaluate all the
technical problems and resolve them
14- Schedule the work in accordance to project timeline and deadline.
1-Work Planning and risk assessment at work place.
2-Control and supervise all Supervisors and Foreman, Charge-hand etc. ensuring that they observe the requirements pertaining to Safety and Quality for particular work.
3-Manage manpower, equipment and materials for safe and timely completion of work.
4-Regular monitoring of work ensuring the qualification of personnel, equipment and material.
5-Ensure the quality of as per the shop drawing/ design drawing and specification.
6-Stage inspection and notification to QC engineer as applicable.
7-Ensuring that the tool box talks are conducted regularly.
8-Ensuring that the Method Statement is followed strictly and implemented at site.
9-Prepare Daily Progress Report and send to Planning, area Manager and other related concerns.
10-Referring the Project Technical Specification and plan accordingly.
11-Review of all materials and listing the alternate choices, according to the specification to get approval for the material to be used in site.
12-Preparation of drawings based on the approved design drawings and getting it approved.
13-Quantity takes off for all electrical accessories and providing all the necessary “material requirement details” on priority basis to the purchase department.
14-Manpower planning for the project.
15-Analyzing all the design details given by the consultants and providing required technical information for the specialized manufacturers/suppliers for all electrical items.
16-Supervision and monitoring of all the electrical installations on site.
17-Monitoring Construction & Sub-contractors throughout all construction and commissioning phases to ensure integrity of work scope and that all work is carried out in accordance with project approved for construction drawings, specifications and project schedule.
18-Allocating the job to the workers and monitoring while installing and commissioning to ensure that the work is going according to the work order and specifications.
1- Every day Site Execution work progress Monitoring & Preparation of site progress report to submit customer to meet customer satisfaction with proper safety at site i.e. overall site work monitoring.
2- Manage manpower, equipment and materials for safe and timely completion of work.
3- Co-ordination with Electrical Contractors for Electrification, Execution, Erection and Commissioning.
4- To provide entire electrical solutions as per requirement.
5- To Maintain the Daily and Monthly Progress Report.
6- To check the entire work as according to approved shop drawings.
7- To co-ordinate with Electricity Board (Kerala) for all Electrical Approvals.
8- Responsible for preventive and shutdown maintenance for all equipment inside the facility which include 11KV Switchgear, Transformers, LT & HT Panels, MCCs, UPS systems etc.
9- Attend regular meeting with Clients and Sub Contractors.
10- Reviewing and checking invoices submitted by the sub-contractors, ensures compliance with work satisfactorily completed, makes necessary corrections, and submitting to the accounts department for endorsement and payment.
11- Quantity takes off for all electrical accessories and providing all the necessary “material requirement details” on priority basis to the purchase department.
12- Negotiating with clients to prepare project specifications.
1- Supervising electrical staff and coordinating the daily activities of the electrical department.
2- Scheduling work to be done for the day.
3- Providing guidance to junior staff in the areas of; leadership, continuous improvement, decision-making and conflict resolution.
